I'm Thea and I love Christmas.
Not because of glitter, consumption or perfection, but because of what the Advent season truly means to me: closeness, warmth, conversations, reflection and the feeling that the world becomes a little quieter for a moment.
For me, Christmas is the last season that can still be as it always was. Old-fashioned, traditional, and full of magic. Away from artificial intelligence, optimization, and automation. While life speeds up and daily life demands more and more of us, I cling to this magic.
As a child, I wrote long letters to Santa Claus and the Christmas Child every year. Carefully thought out, decorated, and full of hope. I baked cookies and left them ready for Sinterklaas along with a glass of milk. That's how I preserved that magic for as long as possible.
With Himmelpost, I want to convey exactly that feeling: the silent anticipation, the wonder in the eyes, and the assurance that there is someone out there who sees you personally and is thinking of you.
Every letter from Himmelpost is traditional. It smells of hearthfire and ink, sometimes of wood, vanilla, or even Rudolph the Reindeer. Finely crafted, lovingly decorated, and carefully packaged, each letter becomes a little gem. There are many ways to make the mail as personal and magical as possible. You decide who the letter is from—Santa Claus, the Christ Child, or another heavenly messenger.
Because Christmas isn't perfect. But it's real. And that's precisely what makes it so precious.
